Senior Manager, Network Operations EMEA

The Network Operations Senior Manager is a technical leadership role that has experience in all major network technologies such as switching / routing, WAN, WLAN, Firewalls, load balancers, Cloud exchange/CoLo, cloud-based network services (AWS; AZURE; GCP), and SDN.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead all aspects of regional network operations, ensuring delivery excellence and alignment with global standards.
Lead global Data Center and Cloud Network Delivery programs, managing internal and technical vendor teams.
Develop and maintain strong business partner relationships, responding to feedback on network performance.
Advise executive management on operational performance, critical network changes, and improvement strategies.
Improve network performance through proactive monitoring, predictive analytics, and AIOps.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
810 years of experience in large / enterprise network operations.
Advanced certifications such as CCNP / CCDP.
Strong track record of leadership
Extensive experience in leading vendors in a large outsourced environment.
Proficiency in major network technologies (e.g., WAN, WLAN, Cloud services, SDN).
Experience with 5G & IoT technologies, virtual networking, and network automation.
Superb communication, customer service, and collaborative skills.
Ability to travel domestically and occasionally internationally (10%).

Experience and Skills:

Strong knowledge of Routing and Switching systems; solid understanding of Routing Protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP) and Gateway Redundancy Protocols (HSRP, VRRP, and GLRP)
Strong knowledge of network Cloud deployments: AWS Transit Gateway, Azure vWAN, load balancers.
Experience with connectivity to onprem data Centers with AWS Direct Connect circuits and Azure Express Route.
Solid understanding of Secure Access Service Edge implementations

Other:

Contribute to the development of operational ITIL standards, policies, while supervising knowledge management and internal operations initiatives.
Support the development of requirements for Managed Service Providers, ensuring comprehensive contract reviews and alignment with organizational needs.
