Production Team Lead MPU

Job purpose:


As Production Team Lead:

  • You are responsible for the operation of a production plant within a production site.
  • You are responsible for activities and resources engaged in the production process and for their continuous optimization
  • You coordinate manpower targets, resources, and skills. You are accountable to manage the production technician team (between 8/15 technician team).
  • You evaluate capacities (employees and machines) necessary to the completion of the production plan
  • And you May be involved in the coordination of supply and demand

In this role you will

EHS:

As Operation SLL/FLL you ensure all people working in your production area remain safe at all time.

  • You ensure all risk assessments are performed. You are involved in these risk assessments together with the risk assessor and supported by relevant stakeholders. You understand and ensure the operational implementation of these risk assessments. You check that staff's trainings are upto date.
  • You ensure the compliance on EHS topics in your area and develop the EHS mindset within your team
  • You verify risk profile is uptodate and employees have necessary skills and medical aptitude.
  • You ensure coactivity is identified during activities preparation and planning.
  • You ensure PTW is issued when required. When you are the work requester, you sign the permit to work on the shop floor. You ensure that stakeholders have understood all workrelated risks and their associated preventive actions.
  • You follow the 3 green lights process for all new production equipment and ensure that working equipment and tools (including PPE) used by employees are safe and fit for purpose.
  • In case of subcontractor's activities in your areas, you ensure all risks are anticipated and assessed before work execution through preparation meetings. Ensure all risks are controlled throughout the duration of subcontractor's intervention by sufficient monitoring.
  • You plan and prioritize team work to ensure that incident investigations to identify root cause are performed without delay. You implement corrective actions; you check corrective actions efficiency, and you ensure CAPAs transversal sharing into your community of practice. Remediation is done with the necessary vigilance

PRODUCTION:


  • You supervises / manages day to day vaccines operations (Bulk, Formulation and Filling)
  • You ensure compliance of the operations with cGMP and Authorities requirements.
  • You monitor quality of the production in close collaboration with QA and QC and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • You are responsible to implement the Operational Excellence Process in the facility within your area of responsibility
  • You evaluate skills/performances of your team, ensure actions of their development plan are done and manage the team through a daily presence on the floor
  • You ensure the follow up of KPI's related to Quality, Supply, EHS and HR in your area, monitors them and guarantee the deployment of the action plan
  • You provide support to direct reports with low or medium complexity issues
  • You ensure that the facility, equipment, and staff are appropriately designed and trained to ensure production activities as well as to facilitate transfer of new processes from Industrialization.
  • You make sure that the facility is properly managed in accordance with highest quality standards, including Security and (Bio) Safety aspects.
  • You are responsible for representation of the Facility Activities during External Audits (FDA, WHO, Nat Health Authorities). And responsible to represent GSK towards visitors and local authorities

Why you?


Qualifications & Skills:


  • Master's degree in Bioengineering/engineering, Pharmacy, biotechnology, or other University degree with relevant experience
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Minimum 5 years' experience either in pharmaceuticals or industrial production
  • Previous experiences in continuous improvement/permanent improvement
  • Fluency in French
