Job Purpose
The PLDC NCP Lead will ensure that PLDC's manufacturing capabilities are aligned with its business requirements and strategic objectives.

This will be done by analysis of the current capacity, forecasting future capacity requirements, identifying potential constraints to the plans, whilst developing strategies to increase efficiency and productivity.

The goal is to optimise the use of resources, reduce costs, and ensure timely production to meet clinical supply chain demand.

This role is crucial in maintaining a balance between supply and demand, and in supporting the company's growth, supply to patient and strategic ambition.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analysing and monitoring the current capacity of the PLDC network.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Forecasting future capacity needs based on business trends and growth plans.
  • Identifying potential constraints and proposing solutions to mitigate them.
  • Coordinating with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure raw material availability aligns with capacity plans.
  • Preparing and presenting reports on capacity planning to stakeholders.
  • Monitoring and setting the data standards detailed production schedules to ensure optimal productivity and meet business needs.
  • Analysing production specifications and plant capacity data to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.
  • Identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts and constraints in the production process.
  • Defining, implementing, and leading the governance process for the allocation of manufacturing across the internal and external PLDC nodes.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong experience in planning in a manufacturing operation
  • Strong experience in data analysis and data manipulation
  • Strong knowledge of Supply Chain activities in a Pharmaceutical or Vaccine background

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • In depth knowledge of pharmaceutical supply chain processes.
