POLITICO is looking for a motivated Accounts Receivable Team Lead to join its dynamic Accounting team. The position is a full time-job based at POLITICO Europe HQ in Brussels. POLITICO is a pioneering and growing media company that covers the politics, policy and personalities of the European Union.

What You'll Do
In this role, you'll be utilizing your technical accounting expertise and people management skills with the following scope:

Oversee a team of three, including a credit collector and two accountants
Be responsible for the scope of all invoicingrelated work
Working with your team
Prepare invoices and send them to clients
Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, posting and recording accounts receivables data
Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
Process accounts and incoming payments
Follow up on credit collection processes and assist where needed
Lead analysis on accounts receivables
Participate in monthly closing processes; monitoring & cutting off revenue (top line)
Being the PoC of our Sales department

What You'll Need

Bachelor's degree in accounting
Significant prior experience as an AR Accountant
Highly computer literate (MS office)
Excellent communication skills
Fluent French and professional English
Ability to effectively coach team members on AR accounting skills
Proactive, organized, dynamic and accurate
Team player and ability to work independently
