We are looking for a Development Manager to join our Packaging Materials Logistics, Delivery Service team.

You will report to Head of Delivery Service and work with a flexible location connected to one of the Packaging Materials locations in Northern Europe.


About the position.


The Delivery Service Team digitalize, integrate and harmonize our end to end Logistics, driving developments of tools, systems and processes to enhance the value of service to our customers and enable smooth Logistics operations.


As Development Manager you will develop centralized digital solutions, reporting and processes for the end to end delivery chain and help to turn data into knowledge to elevate decision-making protocols.


In this role you will:


  • Propose and implement digital solutions to create real, tangible value.
  • Create descriptive analysis to support in the driving of operational excellence.
  • Design processes and provide handson support in implementing and improving processes and tools.
  • Support continuous improvement of Delivery Service by identifying development opportunities and acting in line with the continuous improvement cycle.
  • Work in a leading role to develop and steer new digital solutions, systems/tools and processes (ie. Project Manager, SCRUM Master).
  • Work with technology and data modelling to enable a proactive approach in the delivery chain.
  • Continuous development in terms of exploration, productization and scaling of technical solutions.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.

Who are we looking for?


To be able to deliver in this role you should have a service mindset, a focus on identifying opportunities and strong capabilities in investigating and structuring the way forward.

You enjoy a fast pace and changing environment, have the ability to set and change priorities, and perform well under pressure.

A strong business acumen and an innovative mindset suit this position well. This position requires travelling maximum 1-2 times per month.


Skills and qualifications needed in the role:

  • University degree (MSc) in technology, business analytics, industrial engineering or similar.
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in similar roles.
  • Professional experience with BI tools, data processing, analytics, and data modelling.
  • Experience of Supply Chain and Logistics.
  • Proven trackrecord of delivering fast results with iterative and agile working approach.
  • Good familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience with TMS, Control Tower concepts, Ecommerce and Celonis are an advantage.
  • Fluent communication in English is required, other languages are an advantage.
