Where you're going to get started:

As Data Solution Architect at Ordina, you will be part of our Data Driven unit, helping customers to become data-driven and targeting their digital transformation.

As a team player, you interact with different complementary data stakeholders to achieve the customers' overall data objectives.

You are the bridge between the strategic and the technical data implementation level, thereby helping concretizing the overall business architecture to match the desired business' operating model, processes, organization and services. You enable data strategy being deployed into practice by gluing both ends of the spectrum. Hence, one of your key strengths is to understand and act on the overall data picture. Based on your personal expectations, you can either focus more on the strategic or on the technical side to be the best company fit you can be.
Targeting the dataspecific architecture domain, your main incentive is to shape welldesigned data systems, allowing data teams to implement data products correctly. This from the ingestion, through the integration/modelling and towards the consumption data perspective. You embrace established and shape your own bestpractice data architectures, while focusing on reusable frameworkdriven design patterns. Leveraging standardization is a key driver. Broader data governance principles will cross your path and your strategic competences will help incorporating them into your data solutions.
Your role will exist crosstechnology, mainly touching modern cloud analytics platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services. A focus choice can be made based on your preferences. Technology will only be a subpart of your entire job role, overarching data architecture capabilities are valued equally important.

This is you:

You have (a first) experience in some relevant data solution architecture principles and are above all passionate about the topic
You are willing to explore and actively grow into data solution architecture
You are a team player, have a criticalthinking mindset and are resultoriented
Fluent in English as well as in Dutch and/or French
You possess (a first) knowledge about the value and use of frameworks, standards, methodologies and tools regarding architecture purposes (TOGAF, ArchiMate, UML, BPMN, etc.) and/or are willing to invest in them
You guide customers in the optimal use of cloud platform data building blocks
You have a good understanding about data warehousing/lakehousing principles
You are familiar with relational data modelling techniques (3NF, dimensional modelling, data vault, etc.) and optionally have notions about NoSQL (graph, etc.)
You are willing to operate in the overall data governance ecosystem, which includes broader topics such as master and reference data, data quality, metadata management, etc.
You are willing to coach other team members in developing similar career paths
You are willing to contribute your knowledge and experience during customer offerings
