A young and dynamic company, active in energy transition and scaling up
We develop and operate Virtual Power Plant (VPP) technologies to support the worldwide transition towards renewable energy. Our VPPs deliver significant value to households, businesses and society in its entirety.

Our VPPs consist of different types of virtually connected energy resources, such as batteries, chargers for electric cars and inverters for solar panels, aggregated together into a network of merged flexible capacity, to keep energy needs in balance and to optimize the impact of renewable energy.

You can help us reach these goals in the role of

IoT FLEET MANAGER

to guarantee the smooth operation of our Virtual Power Plant

Your Challenge

You will be responsible for the pro-active scanning of our device fleets for anomalies or errors, by using manual and automated scanning tools and queries.

Together with our Developers and Operational teams you will analyse potential issues and manage the process up to resolution, with the goals of maintaining the good health of the individual devices within the Virtual Power Plant.

An idea of what's ahead of you:

You proactively monitor our devices and you investigate the errors you detect.
You analyze incoming tickets and dispatch them to the experts who can handle them in case you can't do it yourself
You keep the ticketing system up to date by a thorough followup
You implement solutions together with our developers or, when needed, physically in our lab or at the end user site
In case of recurring problems, you will foresee the necessary documentation in collaboration with our developers and the operations team
Your premier goal is to maximize the Quality and uptime of our fleet by all means possible

Technical skills

Technical Education; Master in (Industrial) Engineering Sciences in ICT / Electronics or related engineering field
Have knowledge of the IoTworld and networks
You have a basic knowledge of relevant hardware such as inverters, battery systems, EVchargers
You know your way around a Raspberry Pi and/or other SoC's
You have a general understanding of the physics behind electrical energy
You understand code (in JavaScript/NodeJS/Python)

Location and language:

For this position you need to be located in
Flanders (Belgium) and have the possibility to come to our Antwerp Lab on a regular basis for interventions with physical devices this is a hybrid position where working remotely is possible
Knowledge of both Dutch and English is required
