YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

_Procurement & Sourcing Officer_:

- for Chocolate Ingredients. In this pivotal role, you will be the driving force behind ensuring the highest quality and availability of chocolate ingredients for our production atelier in Vlezenbeek, Belgium. Your strategic procurement skills and innovative mindset will elevate our chocolate creations to new heights, while contributing to our commitment to sustainability._

Procurement Operations:

Take charge of the endtoend procurement process, from Purchase Order to Goods Receipt to Invoice Verification, utilizing our SAP system.
Utilize Material Requirements Planning to ensure timely ordering and delivery of all chocolate ingredients, crucial to our daily production activities.
Maintain close relationships with suppliers, ensuring ontime delivery and adherence to our quality standards.
Optimize inventory levels to avoid excess or obsolete stock, while ensuring uninterrupted supply.

Process Optimization and Innovation:

Take ownership of your key performance indicators (KPIs) and constantly strive to simplify processes and achieve targets.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including R&D, Marketing, Quality, and Supply Chain, to source the best ingredients that fuel our brand's innovation.

Strategic Sourcing and Value Creation:

Develop and implement strategies for chocolate ingredient sourcing, utilizing strategic sourcing methods and conducting RFX processes.
Lead negotiations and contract implementation, aiming for optimal terms and conditions.
Foster strong relationships with key suppliers and actively seek new potential suppliers and emerging trends.

Collaboration and Reporting:

Be an integral part of our dynamic Procurement team, collaborating closely with colleagues to achieve departmental goals.
Report directly to the Procurement Manager, providing insights and updates on procurement activities.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THIS POSITION WILL HAVE:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 3 years of procurement experience.
Detailoriented with the ability to thrive under pressure, demonstrating a proactive and solutionoriented mindset.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in SAP and advanced knowledge of Excel, empowering you to navigate complex systems and analyse data effectively.
Fluent in Dutch and/or French, as well as English.
