AI Artificial Intelligence ML Machine Learning Natural Language Processing Brussels Remote Working 650 Euros Per Day - Long Term mission

Responsibilities
Supervise all phases of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM).

Selecting features, building and optimising classifiers using machine learning techniques:

Identify relevant features and variables for document classification and analysis.
Optimise classifiers to improve accuracy, precision, and recall for document categorisation and information extraction tasks.

Interact with data stewards and other IT stakeholders to define the data rules:

Collaborate with data stewards and IT teams to establish guidelines and rules for data management, including data identification, collection, and processing.
Assess compliance with data governance policies and regulations.
Work closely with legal counsels, eDiscovery vendors, and consultants to align data rules with legal requirements and best practices.

Define data controls and implement actions to ensure data quality and integrity:

Evaluate and define data controls to maintain data quality and integrity throughout the document review process.
Assess data controls and flows implemented by external companies to ensure data relevance, quality, and integrity.

Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis:

Preprocess and clean data to remove noise, inconsistencies, and irrelevant information.
Validate the integrity and accuracy of data used for analysis to ensure reliable and trustworthy results.

Contributing for the analysis of data management vision, strategy and policy and derive the IT requirements;- Participate in the analysis of the data management vision, strategy, and policy of DG Competition.

Derive IT requirements based on the identified needs and goals.
Provide insights and recommendations to enhance data management practices, processes, and systems.

Advise on the most suitable document review workflow and strategy to enhance the productivity and accuracy of case teams during the data review process.

Train DG COMP's case teams on these advanced AI/NLP/ML features, use cases and associated workflows.

Contribute to vision and strategy, common standards and best practices on use of AI/NLP/ML for competition investigations.

Knowledge and Skills

Excellent knowledge of Perl, Python, Matlab, R and its NLP/ML libraries (SpaCy, NLTK, scikitlearn, pandas ).
Excellent knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as kNN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, Neural Network, and/or artificial intelligence frameworks.
Excellent knowledge of Data Management
Good knowledge of AWS and/or Azure;
Good knowledge of Linux;
Good knowledge of Unix and Bash;
Good knowledge of natural language processing systems life cycle and agile software development methodologies;
Good knowledge of quality assurance and quality control for machine translation (MT) and experience with MT quality procedures, testing methodologies and tools, such as automatic quality metrics (BLEU scores and similar) and human evaluation of MT quality;
Knowledge of query languages, such as SQL, Hive, Pig, etc and with information extraction
Knowledge of NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, etc.
Knowledge of data visualisation tools, such as , GGplot, etc
Experience in the field of corpus based linguistics;
Experience with alignment models and classification methods.
Experience with data analytics over big datasets, nonstructured databases as well as data lakes.

Specific expertise MANDATORY**- At least 2 years work experience using an eDiscovery platform such as Relativity, Brainspace or other commercial (COTS) platforms

Solid knowledge of Data Management.
Knowledge of big companies' IT landscapes in relation to storage (as auditor, architect, system administrator etc.).
Knowledge of in public and private Clouds and in particular how data are stored, managed and audited on these platforms.
Knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms, and/or artificial intelligence frameworks.

Specific expertise TO BE LEARNED ON THE JOB**- Experience of using Industry Standard forensic imaging methodologies and toolsets.

Experience in corporate digital forensics in all elements of scoping, performing data collections and data processing.
Experience with big datasets, nonstructured databases as well as data lakes.
Experience with alignment models and classification methods.
RCA (Relativity Certified Administrator) certification is a plus
