Description

NSF is looking to add an experienced
Talent Manager to support our EMEA region.

The purpose of the
Talent Manager EMEA is to attract talent to NSF that enables us to achieve our mission to protect and improve human & planet health.

They will oversee the Talent Acquisition operation for EMEA including the internal team, external team and processes, tools, systems, data and reporting, as part of the Global Talent Management Center of Expertise (COE).

The
Talent Manager EMEA will work closely with Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) and business leaders.

This role is a key leader in developing one NSF team of internal and external partners while achieving our mission and goals to attract and retain talent.

This position requires a minimum of 3 days presence in our NSF offices.


Principal Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Leads the EMEA talent acquisition operation, including leading the talent acquisition team to achieve talent acquisition goals for EMEA. The EMEA operation includes a high volume of various, complex positions, and includes hiring of full-time employees, interns, and potential to support temporary hiring.
  • Technology and Systems (Oracle Recruitment Cloud ORC)
  • Talent Management Process Lead, partners closely with HRBP's to align on talent agenda. Including supporting talent review, succession planning, personal development plans and engagement and other talent related processes.
  • Partners with EMEA and Global HRBPs and hiring managers to support workforce planning strategies to meet hiring needs.
  • Communicates with leaders regarding recruitment processes, needs, trends, position requirements, strategies, and tactics to recruit talented, diverse staff including achieving NSF Affirmative Action goals.
  • Partners with EMEA and Global HRBP's and Leaders to support talent retention in the organization for all EMEA locations
  • Oversees the daily management of the global applicant tracking system, ORC, including communication, change management, training and coaching and accurate data and reporting with assistance from COEs and HRBPs.
  • Leads recruiting and hiring process ensuring compliance with employment regulations and laws related to talent acquisition and internal placements.
  • Leads the talent strategy through coaching, feedback, and development, encouraging communication, alignment, and collaboration to drive high performance.
  • Motivates and manages the team to achieve goals at an individual and organizational level, whilst taking on operational charge where and when needed
  • Leads the implementation of talent process improvements for the EMEA operation with global reach, partnering with the full Global Talent
  • Ensures EMEA operation meets the talent acquisition budget. Ensures sourcing strategies are effective in meeting talent metrics.
  • Supports expansion of sourcing strategies as the business requires for direct hires, creating a pipeline of talent to achieve business metrics.
  • Leads continuous improvement for best practice to improve talent acquisition aligned with global needs, promoting efficiency, productivity, and aligning with the global talent strategy and talent acquisition goals.

Qualifications:


  • Proven 5 years' experience in talent acquisition operation of a growing organization, ideally within service driven industry
  • Direct experience leading recruiters (leading work, providing coaching/feedback, and performance evaluations, success in prioritizing benches, and sourcing strategies)
  • Handson approach, able to handle strategic projects as well as operational tasks.
  • 3 years proven management experience with budget ownership
  • Proven leadership experience building strong teams of internal and external partners.
  • Experience managing a full life cycle recruiting process with an applicant tracking system (ORC preferred)
  • Experience with talent management activities (succession planning, talent review, talent development etc.)
  • Strong ability with leading change and continuous improvement.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Fluent in English and at least one other European language (Dutch, French, German preferred)
  • Excellent customer service orientation with the ability to understand the different businesses active in EMEA and match these with the talent development needs.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on essential goals. Ability to work with deadlines and capable to prioritize
  • Strong attention to data analytics and reporting
  • Strong leadership skills building a positive culture.
  • Experience in NSF leadership competencies, top 3 for this position are leading change, fostering a team, and delivering results.
  • Understanding of best practices in the talent acquisition field in different EMEA countries.

Education and Certification Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field.
