Your assignments will contribute to the international development of Landmark Global, subsidiary of bpost (Belgian postal operator). Landmark Global has its roots in North America.

It has grown from providing international parcel delivery to providing full service end-to-end solutions for ecommerce, including proprietary technology and trade consulting that gives our clients the capability to sell to millions of customers worldwide.


Your mission


As an Epic Owner Digital you will be part of our Business eSolutions team which works closely across the business to integrate new customers, new suppliers (last mile parcel delivery companies) and new innovative digital solutions into our IT systems.

Typically, you will analyze business requirements, and translate these into requirements and specifications for our IT development teams. These teams are located in Belgium, Eastern Europe, China, India and USA (California).


The Epic Owner Digital is responsible for managing and optimizing various digital customer journeys and projects and has a positive impact on our organization's digital strategy.

This includes understanding the company's vision, understanding how digital can contribute to it and then leading the development and implementation of new solutions.


About the job
-
Lead and drive identified
digital strategic initiatives, assuring customer centric experiences and added value for clients (internal and external).

Synchronize business priorities and requirements across teams assuring content of epics is ready for quarterly planning in collaboration with other squad team members (Feature Managers, Product Owners, Release Truck Engineers and Developers).

Develop a position of recognized expert and thought partner regarding the understanding of the specific needs of customers (internal and external), and be able to propose adapted digital and technology solutions.

Coordinate with
the different teams responsible for process & system requirements and make sure that these ones are in line with the digital strategic initiatives (value streams) in order to help them realize their objectives.

Execute project management: assure staying within the budget, ensure the timely implementation of the deliverables and guarantee that the scope remains respected. Ensure that objectives are achieved. Be able to anticipate activities and provide a roadmap of activities. Anticipate risks and constraints. Manage relationships with different senior stakeholders including at operational level to define relevant solutions. Communicate, drive risk's assessments and inform stakeholders around progress. Be able to put the relevant people around the table. The role includes having regular exposure to Business and ICT stakeholders, including C-level, as well as to external providers.

Understand the complexity of operational processes as well as the business model of customers in different sectors, in order to be able to propose value-added and optimal solutions.

Promote the use of market research, benchmarks, proof of concepts, mock-ups, etc.

Your profile

  • Master's degree or equivalent, preferably in
    computer or economic sciences.
  • Work experience in the domains of
    digital, data or innovation projects.
  • Capable of really
    understanding customer and business needs as well as supplier specifications and be mature enough to
    challenge these where applicable.
  • Knowledge of
    functional and technical aspects of IT.
  • Capable of taking
    responsibility and ownership of activities.

Innovative skills, including the capacity to anticipate value added solutions for clients, implement new ways of working, as well as challenging the way things are done. Includes the capacity to propose new processes and manage complex
project management across different Business Units requiring new technologies. Improving performance, try something new, reach a challenging goal while also taking action to minimize the risk involved are key.
