This role will be situated within the Business Stream ENGIE Electrabel Decommissioning of the Global Business Area Nuclear.

The Business Stream ENGIE Electrabel Decommissioning is in charge of all Tractebel activities related to the Decommissioning Program of the Belgian Nuclear Power Plants as preferred engineering partner of Electrabel and Synatom.

The Business Stream ENGIE Electrabel Decommissioning also includes the Metier Radiation Protection (RP), Radwaste & Decommissioning that gathers the necessary competences to support nuclear projects and covers following disciplines:

• Radiation protection (radiological zoning, dose rate & shielding calculations, health physics support, ALARA studies);
• Radiation monitoring (procurement and installation of radiation monitoring equipment, qualification of components, calibration);
• Radiological characterization (radwaste and site characterization, setup of (un)conditional clearance methodologies and procedures, software development & validation, qualification of measurement equipment);
• Radioactive waste management (decontamination processes, treatment & conditioning processes & facilities, radwaste & spent fuel storage & disposal, container licensing support, waste acceptance criteria, waste installations and processes qualifications);
• Nuclear decommissioning processes (physical and chemical inventories, dismantling scenarios and schedule, integrated design, logistics, transport, traceability of radioactive substances, decommissioning plans, cost assessment).

Your function

As a member of the Department Management Team of the Business Stream ENGIE Electrabel Decommissioning, you develop and coordinate the collaboration with external partners in support to the Decommissioning Program and the Metier RP, Radwaste & Decommissioning in view of contributing to the Global Business Area Nuclear mission, goals and objectives.

You also support the Business Development, Marketing & Sales activities in other Business Streams for the Radwaste & Decommissioning products.

In this context, your mission is the following:

• As External Partnership Manager, hierarchically reporting to the Head of Business Stream ENGIE Electrabel Decommissioning:
• You define the potential scope of activities within the Business Stream that could be entrusted to external partners in collaboration with the members of the Extended Management Team of the Business Stream;
• You identify potential external partners and define strategic, tactical, or operational importance of relationship for the future of the Radwaste and Decommissioning products within the Global Business Area Nuclear;
• You manage relationships with external partners that have a strategic or tactical importance for the Business Stream;
• You implement the necessary collaboration means (Confidentiality Agreement, Memorandum of Understanding, Technical Assistance Agreement, Sub-Contracting Agreement, etc.) with external partners in collaboration with the members of the Extended Management Team of the Business Stream and the support services;
• You organize the integration of experienced and strategic partners in technical assistance, subcontracting, or any other collaboration mode within the Business Stream, in collaboration with the members of the Extended Management Team;
• You support the transition of the Business Stream and value the wellbeing of the teams within the evolving context and challenges of the Global Business Area Nuclear;
• You promote the image of competences of the Business Stream, the Global Business Area, and the Business Unit Tractebel (active participation in conferences and workshops,);
• You organize regular meetings with the members of the Extended Management Team of the Business Stream to identify and followup external support.
• As Product Manager, functionally reporting to the Head of Strategy, Innovation, Business Development, Marketing & Communication:
• You are in charge of implementing the business roadmap, defining the global business strategy, and defining the global market positioning for the Radwaste and Decommissioning products in collaboration with the other Business Streams;
• You work in close collaboration with the other Business Streams to support them in Business Development, Marketing and Sales activities for the Radwaste and Decommissioning products, implementing the right operational schemes, in accordance with market needs;
• You translate into the field the strategy as defined by the Direction Committee of the Global Business Area Nuclear (i.e. mission and goals);
• You identify potential development of key competences to support the business roadmap of the Radwaste and Decommissioning products;
• You are in charge of defining and managing cost effective R&D and innovation roadmap directly supporting the Radwaste and Decommissioning products' strategy implement
