As a Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Analyst, you are the link between the customer demand and the manufacturing organizations for Biscoff products, Cookies, Pastry, and Waffles.

You are part of the Global Biscoff Planning & Logistics team, and will report to the S&OP Manager.


Functiebeschrijving:


  • You support the Sales & Operations process by coordinating between the customer demand and manufacturing operations for Biscoff products, Cookies, Pastry, and Waffles.
  • The improvement proposals you formulate, focus on enhancing the S&OP processes and on improving the demandsupply balance. The ultimate goal is to optimize service levels and lead time at minimum cost.
  • Reporting, analyzing and optimizing scenario simulations and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to improve forecast accuracy, inventory management, and overall operational performance, is part of your job.
  • You collaborate both closely with sales to formulate monthly forecasts and operations in crafting longterm supply strategies. Meanwhile, you stimulate collaboration and communication between the sales and operations teams, to come to a strong team performance in running the S&OP process.
  • The use of the supply chain planning processes, is something you promote and improve by providing training, knowledge sharing and implementing process optimizations. In case of supply chain oriented projects, you are one of the key contacts for the ICT Team.

  • You have a Master's degree in a relevant study field, combined with at least 3 years of experience in Supply Chain planning (factory planning, S&OP, distribution and logistics,). Experience in the FMCG industry or industrial manufacturing business is a plus.
  • You are resultsfocused and feel comfortable in a processoriented environment. You show a strong analytical & businessdriven mindset, combining strategy with operational activities.
  • You are flexible and have a natural drive to continuously improve processes and ways of working, a team player who finds it easy to absorb and transfer knowledge.
  • On top of being a good communicator in Dutch and English, you are a very proficient user of Excel. Experience in SAP, Power BI and SAC is a plus.
