This role is a great opportunity for those who want to broaden their experience in the exiting digital commerce channel, which is a priority channel for Unilever.
As e-Commerce Sales Assistant, you will be co-responsible for achieving the organization's strategic and commercial goals for a portfolio of customers in the online space.
Together with the e-Key Account Manager (e-KAM), you will manage Pure Players accounts and lead the important topic of e-merchandising with Omnichannels and Pure Play customers.
Further, you will be responsible for executing an action plan on search optimization with our key omnichannel customers.Within the team, you will work closely with the e-KAM, the other digital commerce team members and the wider Belgian organization.
It's a great starting point to become an all-round (online & offline) commercial profile and turbo-charge your learning on digital commerce.
Key Responsibilities
- Together with the eKAM, you help executing the Pure Players and Omnichannel retailers plans.
- Own and lead the emerchandising agenda:
o Own the retro-planning to ensure that all products are launched at the right moment at the right retailer with the right content.
o Provide the right content for online retailers.
- Processes & tools:
o Salsify - Be the expert of this tool by giving internal training to new joiners when needed and emphasizing the importance of enriched content.
Also, ensure monthly contact with the Salsify CSM (Customer Success Manager) to discuss the best approach to use the tool.
o Perfect e-merchandising (usage of Data Impact tool) - own the tools & follow-up to improve online score related to e-merchandising (ex; online visuals, product description, perfect naming, enriched content, etc.)
o Pricing & Forecasting - In collaboration with the KAM, you manage volumes & price of the promotion plan in the promo tool.
o Retailer online content supply (usage of Brandbank tool) - be the owner of the product creation in BrandBank to ensure that the right products are launched at the right moment.
o Financial Support (Coupa) - support the e-KAM in Purchase Order creation to make sure that the right amount is paid to the supplier for the different tools used.

- Proactive, flexible and adaptable to changing situations
- Handson mentality, not afraid to tackle administrative tasks in order to develop your accounts
- Enthusiastic about O&O (online and offline) sales and shoppers
- At ease learning about tools and ecommerce trends
- High on accountability and responsibility
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ideally +2 years working experience in a Digital or Commercial role
- You connect easily with many internal and external stakeholders
- You have very good communications skills
- You are enthusiastic, take initiative and have perseverance
- You are a team player with very good social skills
- Your are fluent in French and/or Dutch & English.
