Project Coordinator / Solution Builder - Projects & Machinery

Job description:

You coordinate doortodoor shipments of project, machinery

- and breakbulk cargo.

You create the operational file in the companies' IT system and ensure a quality A to Z execution and followup.
You coordinate the mostly multimodal and crosstrade shipments with your colleagues, agents, and suppliers worldwide.
You keep a clear overview of the various types of transport within a certain project and maintain customeroriented communication and optimal project reporting.
You deal efficiently and qualitatively with possible customer complaints.
You assist the project team with the followup of customer RFQs and tenders.
You send rate requests to our suppliers (transport companies, shipping lines, terminals, agents, etc.) and negotiate the price and conditions where needed.
You work out commercial offers and define the right price, terms, and conditions in consultation with the project team or sales manager.

Requirements:

You have a bachelor's degree in logistics or similar due to experience
You have at least three years of experience in a customerfacing role as a freight forwarder
Experience in project logistics
You are fluent in English and Dutch. Active knowledge of any other language is a plus.
Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to think outofbox
Ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through, and meet aggressive deadlines
Work and act as a team player in all interactions with other employees and Customers
Provide a high level of customer service at all times and excellent customer service skills to ensure the satisfaction and approval of our c
