    The Role of Product Engineer Involves the Following Responsibilities

  • Working with sales, application engineers, and developers to create specifi cations for new software features.
  • ·Managing the backlog of requests to assign an appropriate priority level to bug fixes and new feature developments.
  • ·Managing the release process to ensure that the software is released on time and contains the enhancements that were planned.
  • Providing testing and documentation in support of new software releases.
  • Providing second level support to end users of the software.The engineer will primarily focus on high-fidelity simulations (LES) for automotive, aerospace, and other industries using the Stitch and CharLES software from the Fidelity suite. Simulations can also involve complex physics including acoustics and combustion.

    • Requirements

  • MS in Mechanical Engineering/Aerospace Engineering (or related degree) + 3 years of relevant experience or PhD in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering (or related degree)
  • In depth knowledge of Large Eddy Simulation, aero acoustics, combustion, and multiphase flows
  • Working knowledge of Linux and CPU/GPU based high performance computing systems
  • General understanding of numerical methods used in CFD
  • Demonstrated experience with Python
  • Experience using CFD software to perform simulations of industrial applications. This includes geometry preparation, meshing, simulation, and post-processing of results.
