Description:

As a senior Technical Designer, you have over 5 years of experience in managing the technical design of information systems:
You create the concept and manage the planning for the technical design, development and implementation phases;
You coordinate the programming activities and ensure both the quantity and quality of the work provided by the programmers;
You align with the Functional Analyst, the Application Manager, the (end) user and the test adviser;
If necessary, you draw up the technical design and the test design for the functional and end to end tests;
Proven experience in software development

Next to a proven experience in software development, you have the following core competences : Agile Methodologies, Analytical thinking, Collaborating, Critical thinking, Decision making, Effective communication, Independent, Quality driven.

This position is situated in Securities Services, where we take care of the entire securities processing value chain (brokerage, settlement, processing of corporate actions, ), for clients as well as professional external clients (other financial institutions, wealth managers, fund managers).

We offer a full platform solution (Business Process Outsourcing) for other financial institutions in Belgium, taking over their operations so they can focus on their clients.
As techlead you play a crucial role in ensuring the overall success of the technical implementation of ITprojects and further lifecycle of the systems.
Your Responsibilities
As a techlead you:
Provide technical guidance and leadership to a team of mainframe developers. This incluses mentoring the team members, review their work, ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
Play a crucial role in project management, planning and coordinating mainframe development projects, settings project timelines, and ensuring timely delivery of thighquality solutions
Design and propose the technical solutions, and system components that meet performance, scalability and security requirements
Identify and resolve technical issues and provide guidance to the team in troubleshooting complex problems related to our systems
Collaborate with different stakeholders, including architect, project managers, other technical teams
Align technical solutions with business requirements and functional analysis
Enhance expertise and keep up with industry standards

You will be teammember of one of our 7 development teams or RUN team of our ART Securities Services. Your focus will be on the subdomain covered by your team though we encourage cross-teamwork either.
