    Our client is a world leader in the transport and distribution sector, with brand-new offices in the north of Brussels (Vilvoorde).

    Description

    Manage the invoicing process, ensuring accurate and timely generation and delivery of invoices to customers Manage the collections process, monitoring and analyzing accounts receivable aging, following up on overdue payments, and implementing collection strategies to minimize bad debtEnsure accurate and timely cash application, reconciling customer payments, resolving discrepancies, and overseeing the allocation of cash to outstanding invoices in collaboration with the General Ledger accountantsMonitor and manage credit risk by conducting credit analysis, assessing customer creditworthiness, establishing credit limits, and implementing credit control measures with the support of the Credit & Collections team Prepare and analyze AR & Credit reporting, providing regular updates to senior management on key performance indicators, process improvements, and areas of concern Optimize the Order-to-cash cycle, resolve order-related issues, and ultimately improve customer satisfaction

    Profile

    Bachelor in Finance or Accounting (an MBA is an asset) Proven experience in an AR Manager / Credit Team Manager position Fluent in English with an excellent level of French and/or DutchStrong knowledge of order management, AR accounting, credit analysis, cash management and collectionExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with customersExceptional analytical abilities, and strong interest in improving and automating accounting processes
