Position overview:As a Quality Manager, you will inspire and mentor all of the quality lab staff while ensuring that all lab operations and administrative tasks are completed effectively and in accordance with company policies.

You are also accountable for quality assurance, ensuring consistency in the products and processes, promoting ongoing improvement, and on-site operator quality training.


You will be leading efforts and maintaining external certified business processes like ISO Certifications and other specific business/ industry standards, partnering with the global quality management team and working cross-functionally to drive quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:


  • Coordination and accountability for Product Quality and Quality Management responsible for establishing and maintaining all Quality Management procedures (in line with allnex standards, ISO9001 requirements and legal requirements).
  • Responsible for maintaining site lab testing SOPs, reliability program, purchasing of new equipment and spare parts, preventative maintenance, and inspection.
  • Using quality tools (like Process Reviews, Value Stream Mapping etc.) to enhance problem solving and improvement activities and drive employee involvement.
  • Responsible of the site wavering process for product release in line with other business, quality and product management teams.
  • Supporting change processes and new product introduction in partnership with other departments to cover Quality specific aspects.
  • Collecting and analyzing performance data against defined parameters and monthly reporting quality key performance indicators.
  • Leading efforts in achieving, maintaining, externally certified business processes like ISO-Certifications and other specific business/ industry standards and acting as site management representative for the ISO Quality Management System.
  • Actively promoting quality achievement and performance improvement, providing solutions and service to the plant to sustain quality and increase productivity.
  • Maintaining strong teamwork with other involved functions and visit visiting customers and suppliers together with sales and procurement teams when needed.

Required skills and experience:


  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical or Biochemical Engineering or other technical field required, quality manager and auditor certificates preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the chemical industry or industries with equivalent quality systems (pharmaceutical, food, oil and gas, ), preferably in quality management or technical support function.
  • Structured acting and thinking, an aptitude for analysis with decision making based on facts and data.
  • Good knowledge of project and reliability tools, Six Sigma, SPC, TPM, LEAN.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills with ability to establish relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment, but willing to take a handson approach with daily issues.
  • Fluency in French, Dutch and, English is a must.
