NRB is currently recruiting a
Cobol/PL1 mainframe developer to help our client with their digital transformation plan.

Mission:

Accounting modernization - processes to be reviewed in hybrid
agile/waterfall mode.

Workflow exchange and synchronization projects on various themes specific to insurance sector.

Migration of electronic flows to
XML format - Participation in the XML transformation of old data exchange flows
to A1 format.

The
technical skills required:

PL1/ CICS /Mainframe /MVS TSO IDZ Zos JCL /DB2 /SQL Debugger Explain for DB
Methodological skills Agile/Waterfall task and project management
Ability to read and understand a functional analysis document written in
UML (standard conceptual / functional analysis methodology)
Tools Knowledge of JIRA / Confluence Mastery of MS Office (Excel / Word / PowerPoint)

The client is in the center of Brussels, 5-minute walking distance from
Central Station. The team consists of analysts, developers, and business analysts -
French and/or
Dutch speaking. Being able to communicate well in
English as well as one or two national languages is required.
