De verantwoordelijkheden van de Lead Technician zijn het coördineren van een team van Service Technici, de inbedrijfstelling, het verhelpen van storingen en het onderhoud van de windturbines die behoren tot ons Service Punt in Gent.

De taken omvatten zowel algemeen als gespecialiseerd werk en zijn als volgt omschreven:

• Borging van de beschikbaarheid van windparken in het betreffende gebied
• Reparatie, onderhoud en inspectie van turbines
• Analyse van defecten op WTG waar nodig in communicatie met Local Operations Manager (LOM)
• Coördinatie van een team van technici om ervoor te zorgen dat hun toegewezen servicetaken binnen de gespecificeerde tijdsbestekken en volgens de vereiste normen worden voltooid
• Verantwoordelijkheid voor materiaal, voertuigen, personeel, prestaties en gezondheid en veiligheid ter plaatse
• Invullen van rapporten en checklists om LOM op de hoogte te houden van activiteiten op de site en zorg ervoor dat de documentatie correct wordt ingevuld en onmiddellijk wordt teruggestuurd naar de technische backoffice
• 1e lijns planningsactiviteiten in nauwe samenwerking met de service coördinator
• Onjob training van nieuwe Service Technici in zijn gebied

- toezien en actie ondernemen op het niveau van de lokale voorraad

• Controle van onderaannemers op locatie

Binnen jouw functie als Lead Technician ben je het belangrijkste aanspreekpunt voor de Service Technici. Je rapporteert aan het LOM van jouw regio.


YOUR TASKS

The Lead Technician's responsibilities are coordinating a team of Service Technicians, commissioning, fault clearance as well as maintenance of the wind turbines belonging to our Service Point in Ghent.

Tasks will include general, as well as specialized work and are described as follows:

• Secure the availability of wind farms in the respective area
• Repair, maintenance and inspection of turbines
• Analysis of defects on WTG where necessary in communication with Local Operations Manager (LOM)
• Coordination of a team of technicians to ensure the completion of their allocated service tasks within the specified timeframes and to the required standards
• Responsibility for material, vehicles, staff, performance and health and safety on site
• Fill in reports and check lists to keep LOM informed of site activities and make sure documentation is completed correctly and returned to the Technical Back Office promptly
• 1st line planning activities in close cooperation with the service coordinator
• Onjob training of new Service Technicians in his area
• Condition and level of local stock
• Control of sub contractors at site

Within your function as Lead Technician you will be the main contact for the Service Technicians. You will report to the LOM of your region.


JOUW PROFIEL
Je hebt een formele kwalificatie in werktuigbouwkunde en/of elektrotechniek met werkervaring in de windturbinesector of aanverwante industrieën.

Daarnaast beschik je over de volgende ervaring en vaardigheden:

• Ervaring in het coördineren van een team
• Ervaring als Servicemonteur
• Franse en Engelse taalvaardigheid is vereist
• Gezondheids

- en veiligheidsbewustzijn

• Systematisch probleemoplossend gedrag
• Communicatiekracht
• Planning & organisatie vaardigheden
• Klantgerichtheid
• Computervaardig, in staat om MS Office, SAPspecifieke softwaretools en interne database

YOUR PROFILE

You should hold a formal qualification in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering with work experience within the Wind Turbine sector or related industries.

Beyond that you will have the following experience and skills:

• Experience in coordinating a team
• Experience working as a Service Technician
• French & English language skills are required
• Health and Safety awareness
• Systematic problemsolving behaviour
