Area Sales Manager - Electrolyzer

Description


We have a diverse team of engineers dedicated to the development of existing and future products for customers on a global scale.

We are currently looking for an
Area Sales Manager to join the team. The role will report to the Sales Director.


Your impact will include:


  • Area manager sales area to cover is France and South East Europe. Other country(ies) can be occasionally assigned on project basis.
  • From sales point of view, be accountable in the allocated area for all sales activities covering all product platforms (from S up to XXL project sizes). Develop and manage the project pipeline to achieve set yearly sales targets (profitability, bookings).
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, act as main client contacts for individual projects from bidding stage up to order acknowledgement.
  • Develop a clear understanding of your market, build up positive & strategic working relationship with clients, partners, EPC and other stakeholders.
- together with the Bid managers/peers drive in all its aspects the elaboration of winning proposals related to large and complex Electrolyser plants (HyLyzers L up to XXL).
- together with the Inside sales engineers/peers drive in all its aspects the elaboration of winning proposals related to standardized products platforms (HySTAT, HyLYZERS S,M)

  • Maximize understanding of client needs, define the appropriate sales strategy and share it with Bid Team/inside sales, and other peers in order to position CMI in a winning seat.
  • Ensure there are no gaps between client solution offered and clarify it if any with stakeholders
  • In alignment with Bid manager/peers, elaborate the cost price of the offered solution
  • Analyze contractual terms and conditions, evaluate them with the support of the legal department.
  • Negotiate with the support of Bid manager/peers the technical contractual terms. Ensure there are no gaps between contractual requirement's. solution offered and clarify it if any with stakeholders
  • Frequently report opportunities and sales activities in CRM tool. Use it as a daily dashboard. Keep CRM database accurate and up to date in order to ease follow up of the sales activities, bookings, forecast and budgets.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:

Education

  • Engineering degree (minimum Master level)

Experience

  • Experienced in selling projects and/or systems in diverse industrial segments Energy, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, EPC, Industrial Gases or similar.
  • Experience in one of those sectors: Hydrogen, Renewable fuels, Renewable Energy, is a plus
  • Sales driven
  • Customer and solution oriented.
  • Committed towards deliverables and deadlines,
  • Ability to work within cross functional teams, in an international environment.
  • Supportive of coworkers and teammates.
  • Computer skills; working knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • English, French, additional languages an asset.
