BD Interventional (BDI) focus on leading innovation and life-enhancing devices in the field of surgical, endovascular, urological and critical care interventions aiming at advancing the treatment of high burden diseases and enabling surgical and interventional procedures.


About the role:


The Product Manager will act as a strategic partner to the Business Unit and the salesforce to ensure successful development and implementation in the Benelux market.

Working closely in tandem with your counterpart from Peripheral Intervention and will work closely with the responsible Sales Directors and the EMEA Marketing team.

The Interventional market includes a broad range of products with several new and exciting products in the pipeline.

You are also responsible for supporting the country to achieve the desired financial performance through comprehensive and timely market development, portfolio management and execution of key marketing programs.


Main responsibilities will include:


  • You understand the different dynamics between the Netherlands and Belgium
  • Be a key partner in ensuring the successful implementation of the business' transitions (MDD/MDR regulation, Product Lifecycle strategies,)
  • Develop category leadership strategies and tactics to ensure sales growth and excellence in new products launch and new technology/therapy adoption.
  • Collaborate with multiple internal partners from supply chain to CCO, Regulatory, Market Access, Market Development, Compliance
  • Conduct regular customer visits to ensure continued awareness of the key market requirements/customer unmet needs and translate them into tactical actions.
  • Become a strong partner in financial budgeting and forecasting for your product portfolio.
  • Reinforce the partnership with existing KOL's, ensures higher service and followup, in conjunction with local clinical and sales team with EU Marketing, Market Development Team and Physician Training team.
  • Reinforce relationship and partnership with Key clinical and patients' associations.
  • Act as a spokesperson to represent your BU's insights and needs to the EMEA Marketing Team
  • Initiate market development activities, and are responsible for launching new products lines and solutions
  • Go to person for product price management

About you:


  • Bachelor or Master Degree with a confirmed experience of minimum 3 years of business experience in the Medical Devices
  • Shown expertise in business experience may include: marketing, sales, sales training, business development
  • Motivated by reaching targets and thinking outofthebox
  • You are familiar with analytics background in supply chain is welcome
  • Comfortable in speaking publicly in front of customers, internal collaborators, and audience.
  • Good knowledge of the healthcare system, its reimbursement and influencing dynamics.
  • You are well organized, able to prioritize appropriately and display good time management skills.
  • You have experience of working in a large matrix organization (preferred)
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint,..)
  • Proficient in Dutch, English and French
