_PRINCIPLE ACCOUNATBILITIES _:


  • _
You will be in charge of the development of the sales of Rhenus in Belgium.

You will act on multi product ( AIR + SEA ) and also on multi site ( Antwerpen, Machelen, Liège ).

Fieldman, sales man and trader, you will use and develop your network to sell Rhenus overseas solutions.

  • Win, retain and develop customers through sales "hunting" activity by actively setting the appointments for facetoface sales meetings with Customers and following the schedule laid by inside sales.
  • Assessing the prospective account as profitable, significant or strategic in order to secure winning bids
  • Build rapport and trust with customers by being informed about customer's business and the market and support customer retention through collaboration with all resources including our Product teams, other sales channels and local Station
Management.

  • Responsible for increasing gross profit and market share while developing ongoing relationships with new customers
  • Rigorous followup on offers and client development
  • Monitoring shipment cuts (lost clients) and implement counter measures
  • Ongoing key customer analysis
  • Execute strategic sales in line with company growth plan
  • Develop and implement strategies and tactics to meet and preferably, exceed the given targets
  • Ensure all sales activity (Meetings, Contact Reports, Opportunities and Leads) are reported within the CRM System "Sugar
CRM"

  • Recommend solutions based on customer needs by using industry knowledge
  • Managing opportunities and risks securing the interests of Rhenus Air & Ocean
  • Taking part in all sales trainings provided and scheduled by Rhenus Air & Ocean

_EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE / SKILLS _:

  • _
  • Requires a minimum of two years field sales in freight forwarding or two years of operational experience
  • Good working knowledge of freight forwarding services, including ocean and air, (import & export), consolidation
  • Demonstrated competence in conflict management, decision making and strategic planning
  • Strong hunter mentality / good communication and interpersonal skills/ Outstanding negotiation skills
  • Ability to think outside the box
  • Strong workethic and integrity
  • Languages : Duch, English, French is an asset
