The Client manages an extensive portfolio of Information Systems that support the core business activities.

These Information Systems are mainly specific to the Client since they support the management of the CAP performed by the Directorate-General.

The CAP Information Systems cover a wide range of business areas such as Strategy & Policy Analysis, Sustainability, CAP Strategic Plans of Member States, International Relations, Markets, Financial Management of Funds, Assurance and Audit, Legislation, and Geographical Indications.

The assignment to Information Systems may change over time, according to the needs.

DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS

The following tasks will be performed:

Analysis of the integration of different information systems
Data analysis and data modeling
Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture
Technical interface between the project leaders and the developers
Production of software architecture documents
Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings, and meetings with the users
Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation, and reporting
Creating designs and blueprints of Cloud Architecture
Review of the architecture of existing systems to migrate existing system into the cloud
Design and development of architecture components and building blocks using cloud components.

The tasks are related to the conception, development, and maintenance of the CAP Information Systems.

LEVEL OF EDUCATION

The minimum educational qualification corresponds to Level 6 of the European Qualification Framework which typically corresponds to a
bachelor's degree of 3 years.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
The following skills and knowledge are required for the performance of the above-listed tasks:

Good knowledge of architecture best practices and patterns
Good knowledge of microservices and architecture in the cloud
Good knowledge of modeling tools
Good knowledge of Enterprise Architecture
Good knowledge of Relational DBMS
Good knowledge of business process analysis
Knowledge of interoperability technology (web services, messageoriented middleware, serviceoriented bus, event architecture)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to participate in multilingual meetings, ease of communication
Good redaction skills
Ability to give technical presentations
Ability to participate in multilingual meetings
The capability of integration in an international/multicultural.

French is an asset.

SPECIFIC EXPERTISE
The following specific expertise is mandatory for the performance of tasks:
