We are looking for a purchase officer.

As Purchasing Officer, you will support the Purchasing team whose key objectives are to secure supply through strong contracts, optimize costs and minimize risks through a diversified supplier portfolio.

You will report to the Group Purchasing Director.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Follow up of purchase contracts: flag renewal need, request quotations, gather data for negotiation, issue new SAP contracts
• Keep purchase prices and other main commercial terms up to date in SAP
• Support in logístical arrangements of incoming material: transport booking & customs administration
• Support for indirect purchasing such as company car fleet, insurances etc
• Participate in purchasing projects such as material categorization, dualsourcing projects, transition to green car fleet etc
• Liaise with the Supply Chain and R&D (technical) department for a smooth crossdepartment cooperation
• Look for and suggest improvement opportunities

• You are willing to work in a technical environment while bringing a commercial contribution
• You have experience with ERP systems, ideally with SAP
• You have a strong knowledge of MS Office tools, particularly excel
• You speak French and English. German and or Polish is a plus.

Education & experience

You have minimum a bachelor degree (preferably in Purchasing, Economics, Commercial or Supply

Chain)

You preferably have relevant work experience in a similar role
