**EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
**Essential Qualifications/Experience: - Very good knowledge of Transmission and Telecommunication Systems Engineering and the associated aspects

Extensive knowledge of implementing and operating network authentication and authorization systems and technologies
Sound knowledge of communications protocols and practical experience of using diagnostic test equipment
Working knowledge of TCP/IP protocols
Working knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP)
Deep understanding of the concept of QoS in IP-Networks
Very good knowledge of Policy Based Routing
Shall have general understanding of transmission protocol MPLSTE and collaboration services Voice/Video
Experience in Service Management processes for Incident Management Change Management and Service Fulfilment
Experience in customer support, user incident handling
Experience of preparing technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures
Certification level of Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)

DUTIES/ROLE:

Network service requests processes and technical support for the network configuration management
Ensure the update of network configuration management databases in accordance with the service request requirements and internal policies/priorities
Ensure the consistency of the maintained network Data bases, assess and align the compliance of network service requests with NATO standards and references
Release the circuit and service orders and follow their implementation when required
Interface to the CIS community for service configuration and request management issues
Support the NCI Agency NISC Network Services Fulfilment Cell in the daily work related to service configuration and management support
Update existing, or create new, documentation for the maintained solutions, e. g. drawings, Standard Operating Procedures, User Guides
Support the provision of network services to NATO deployable/mobile CIS infrastructure in accordance with NATO standards
Provide the support of exercises and trainings throughout NATO territory as required
