Function

Manufacturing execution and plant logistics is a core enabler of our digital manufacturing strategy within our new Digital Operations Team, which creates and realizes business value leveraging digital technologies.

You will be accountable for the step change in the Operations Management System that is responsible for MES, shopfloor equipment logs, and digital SOP's.

You will function globally across all our plants and products (Projection, Medical Displays, Digital Operating Room, Video Walls to name a few).

You will collaborate internationally to deliver the services and solutions that help everyone to be more productive and enable innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Actively participate and lead the creation of innovative concepts and IT solutions within the areas warehouse management, production supply and outbound logistics;
Translate business requirements into technical requirements, considering best practices and Barco standards;
Organize and lead workshops (fit/gap analysis) as part of various IT projects (i.e. S4 and EWM rollouts);
Organize, execute and develop required trainings for all involved stakeholders;
Ensure technical support to productive areas, problem solving and elaboration of documentation to support standardization;
Execution of continuous improvement activities for all Warehouse Management and Outbound logistics activities.

Your profile

You have a degree in Industrial engineering, business administration, business informatics or comparable;
You are capable of working in a team, flexible and enjoying new challenges;
You have very good communication and documentation skills;
You have comprehensive process knowhow in the area of logistics
You have several years of experience in the execution of project management methods, experience in project implementations
You have Experience in training/testing execution
Willingness to travel 2030 % expected
