AV&C Events Technician / Junior for our prestigious partner DIGIT TM (DG Informatics)
in Brussels. DIGIT-TM is a contract from the European Commission for IT services across Europe.

Main Responsibilities

As
AV&C Events Technician / Junior you will be responsible for:

First level technical support in audio-visual events managed by DG Interpretation in the European Commission.
Support for Simultaneous Interpreting Delivery Platform (SIDP) in meeting and conference rooms managed by DG Interpretation in the European Commission.
Management of the portable interpretation equipment (PIE).
May be asked to help with the use of A&V equipment and audio video technologies.
Incident resolution and recording in ticketing tool.
Guidance regarding the use of AV and IT systems for end users.
Setting and customisation of equipment and services

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Knowledge of audiovisual and IT material, and of multimedia technologies.
Experience with microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, recording equipment, sound and mixing boards.
Experience with a Simultaneous Interpreting Delivery Platform (SIDP).
Experience in end user assistance or support of information systems.
Experience and ability to work both in local and central control rooms.
Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment.
Proficient in English and/or French, both written and spoken.
Customer oriented service and good team spirit
