The
IT Services Specialist is responsible for the ongoing support of OneSpan employees and IT infrastructure worldwide.

The IT-Services Specialist will deploy laptop client and support the Information and Communications infrastructure, focusing on both local and remote networks, VPN and all other tools which enable voice and data communication between OneSpan employees and the outer world.

Devices and solutions include all data communication devices (servers, laptops, desktops), voice services, and mobile phones (Windows, Apple, Android).

In the remote locations, desk-top support will be performed through (internal and external) service providers, which will be supervised by the IT Helpdesk Support manager.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Onboarding new employees, which includes laptop deployment and client onboarding and training
  • Monitoring alerts from the IT monitoring tool according to the agreed procedures
  • Managing level1 support incidents from our ticket tracking tool, Jira Service desk.
  • Following up on incidents until a resolution is agreed upon
  • Acting as a reference for colleagues, sharing the information with the other team members and IT management
  • Providing local and remote support to OneSpan employees (hard/software)
  • Installing and configuring client software
  • Supporting Microsoft Windows/Linux/macOS client operating systems
  • Creation of users in AD and Azure
  • Identifying infrastructural needs through listening to user requests, proactive monitoring and following advice of the IT infrastructure Security Manager
  • Report infrastructure needs to the Helpdesk Support Manager to establish requirements for new systems and/or modifications
  • Monitoring the daily performance of both local and remote IT infrastructure
  • Supervising and coordinating external parties engaged in problemsolving, monitoring, and installing hardware, datacommunication equipment and software in cooperation with the IT system engineer
  • Preparing evaluations of software or hardware, and recommending improvements or upgrades to the IT system engineer

Requirements:

- at least 2 years of relevant experience in an internal or external IT-Support (1st and 2nd Level Helpdesk) role

  • Required to be onsite in our Belgium offices (on average at least 1 day per week)
  • Having extensive practical knowledge of Windows client and server operating systems, macOS, Windows Server and Linux client operating systems
  • Proficient in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VLAN, switching, routing and network topology
  • Experience with Azure/AWS cloud environment and understanding of Office 365 user management and licensing
  • Knowledge of VOIP telephony (Skype, Teams, Zoom etc.)
  • Proficient knowledge of VMware vSphere / vCenter
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Manager
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory/Azure
  • Good communication skills needed for client interaction
  • Experience in documenting knowledge base articles, project documentation, reports.
  • Languages: English (must), Dutch (must), French (nice to have)
