ERP Process Transformation Director:
Ontex is a leading international provider of disposable personal hygiene solutions for all generations.

To reinforce our IT team we are looking for a ERP Process Transformation Director.

As ERP Process Transformation Director, your role extends beyond technology implementation. It encompasses drive, vision, and innovation related to Ontex' ERP supported processes. As a result, you will be driving digital literacy and process optimization through technology.

Based on the foundation of Ontex' strategic priorities, you will be orchestrating the process transformation journey supported by a new ERP.


You will be the linking pin between the IT&Data organization (represented by the Senior Manager Business Applications) and the rest of the Ontex organization.

You will collaborate with executive teams, stakeholders, and cross-functional units to achieve sustainable growth and operational excellence supporting Ontex' business transformation through technology.

Main responsibilities and key tasks

Digital Transformation strategic leadership:

  • Develop and articulate a holistic ERP supported transformation strategy, aligned with the organization's longterm vision and 'value creation plan'.
  • Drive the technology change management efforts.
  • Promote ERP and process literacy and competency across the organization.

Business Process Optimization:

  • Make an inventory of inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Stimulate the Business Process Owners (BPO's) and broader business in rethinking their business processes and support them in adopting the 'best practice' industry process standards.
  • Design and implement streamlined workflows, leveraging industry best practices.
  • Drive process reengineering initiatives to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.

ERP Implementation (SAP S/4HANA):

  • With the Senior Manager Business Applications, oversee the end-to-end deployment of SAP S/4HANA, ensuring seamless end-2-end process integration.
  • Reduce the technical IT dept by driving for a clean ERP core.
  • Collaborate with the IT&Data team, other Ontex departments, and external partners to execute the implementation plan.
  • Monitor project milestones, budgets, and quality assurance.

Change Management and Adoption:

  • Develop comprehensive change management strategies to minimize resistance and maximize user adoption.
  • Create tailored communication plans, training materials, and support mechanisms.
  • Engage stakeholders at all levels, emphasizing the benefits of modern technologies.

Team Direction and Talent Development:

  • Manage a team of BPO's.
  • Mentor and empower team members, fostering professional growth and expertise.
  • Collaborate with BPO's to align their efforts with transformation goals.

Collaboration with IT&Data Team:

  • Work closely with the IT&Data team to ensure seamless technology & data integration.
  • Collaborate on data governance, security, and infrastructure enhancements.
  • Leverage datadriven insights to informed strategic choices.

External Consulting Partner Management:

  • Partner with selected external consulting firms to drive process transformation initiatives.
  • Define project scopes, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Steer consulting partners toward successful project outcomes.

Performance Measurement and Reporting:

  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess process transformation success.
  • Regularly evaluate progress, adjust strategies as needed, and report to the Ontex senior leadership.

Stakeholder Engagement and Influence:

  • Engage with Csuite executives, department heads, and employees to build consensus.
  • Influence direction by presenting datadriven insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Serve as a bridge between business units and technology teams.
  • Job requirements


  • Education

  • Master's degree in business administration, technology management, or a related field.
Experience- Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated success in managing complex process transformations.

  • Experience with a Cloud ERP / SAP RISE S/4HANA deployment driven transformation is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with change management and project management methodologies.
