HR Legal Counsel for a permanent position based in Brussels.

Our client is a fast growing company active in the
sports retail sector.

As
HR Legal Counsel your
mission will be to be a strategic player and business driver creating sustainable value.


Responsibilities:


  • Employment law
  • Advise the business and the HR department in Belgian employment law related matters (contracts, benefits, wellbeing, work time, work rules, disciplinary procedures and all HR projects in general)
  • Collaborate with and coach the HR Director in social dialogue matters (works council, prevention committee, restructuration, meetings with social partners)
  • Manage all HR policies (codes of conduct, telework, nondiscrimination, ethics, benefits )
  • Ensure monitoring of and compliance with Belgian social legislation
  • Review the HR communications & best practices
  • Manage internal trainings relating to employment legislation
  • Follow up with external partners in litigation matters
  • Privacy
  • Collaborate with the DPO
  • Manage internal trainings on data privacy compliance
  • Drafting privacy policy, Data Protection Agreement (DPA), Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA)
The required
profile for the
HR Legal Counsel position:

  • Master of laws
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in employment law
  • Experience and/or interest in GDPR and privacy law
  • Fluent in French and Dutch
  • Lively & dynamic
  • Team player
  • Assertive
  • Interested in sports
