As a solution manager you will be part of the Network as a Service cluster within the Network & Wholesale tribe.

Within this cluster we design mobile and fixed network services and solutions for our business, residential and wholesale customers.

Your tasks as a Solution Manager

You support Cluster Lead(s) and (Tribe) Product owner(s) with technical expertise to maximize the added value of the solution at strategic and tactical level so initiatives can be realized.
Work closely together with the Cluster Lead(s) and (Tribe)Product owner(s) to translate the business needs into feasible and scalable solutions.
Acts as an interface between business stakeholders and ensures alignment on requirements, timelines and budgets
Works with internal/external stakeholders to work out an acceptable solution that promotes reuse and crosstribe alignment and takes into account the consequences of a particular choice from delivery timing, cost and maintainability point of view as well as functionality & impact on the business process and customer experience. If applicable, codefines and maintains the (engineering) Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) in alignment with the Cluster Leads
You provide different solution options, which are aligned with the enterprise architecture, and validate them into different perspectives (like budget, timing, future roadmaps).
You help the Tribe(s) with the preparation for the Initiatives in the Quarterly cycle and validate specific epics against the 'Definition of Done' and Initiatives against 'Definition of Ready'.
You identify risks, impediments and the potential impact of crosstribe initiative
You reconcile different interests and help in finding a solution for escalations if required.
You challenge internal and external stakeholders and manage expectations

Our ideal Solution Manager

You have an Master degree and 5 years of relevant experience.
You're an excellent communicator and a natural facilitator.
You're a team player and a bridge builder between different departments.
You're fluent in English; Dutch knowledge is beneficial.
You're flexible and you're eager to learn new technologies.
You have experience in translating business needs into endtoend solutions in a large and complex environment.
You have general knowledge of the life cycle of system and software development.
You have a technical knowledge of the platforms relevant in the role (data & voice platforms)
You have analytical skills and experience. You have experience in a Telecom and an Agile working environment
