Linux System Administrator (m/f/d)

Permanent position, full-time - Cologne Your tasks

• Setup and operation of centralized and decentralized Linux systems
• The operation of central identity managementfor school authorities
• The provision andmonitoring of our customer systems
• Thebackup and restore of server data
• Creatingscripts for automation in the server environment
• Willingness to occasionally participate in the on-callduty

Your profile

• You have completed training as an ITspecialist (or comparable) and have already gained professionalexperience
• You have in-depth knowledge ofinstalling and operating Linux servers
• Agood technical understanding, a pronounced service and solutionorientation as well as a structured and careful way of workingcharacterize you
• You work just as wellindependently as part of a team
• We requirefluent written and spoken German

Your experience

Sound knowledge (at leastin combination) in the following areas is desirable:

• Administration of Debian-basedLinux distributions in a business environment
• First experience in the use of Docker, Ansible, GIT andrelational databases
• Automation of recurringtasks using Bash or Python
• Monitoring andperformance analysis
• Experience withOpenLDAP and Samba directory services
