Loyens & Loeff Belgium is currently recruiting a
legal intern for its
banking
and finance
practice.

What will you do as a legal intern?

You support the lawyers of the practice group in the field of knowhow, research projects, business development and files.
You collect information about developments in the field of European and national financial law, ESG and insolvency.
You contribute to structuring and updating knowhow, models and memoranda, you are involved in drafting newsletters and legal research.
You will support the team with client onboarding, KYC requirements and business development initiatives.

Are you the one we are looking for?

You are currently pursuing (or you already hold) a master's degree in Belgian law with an excellent academic record so far.
You have an affinity with financial law and transactions, and a keen interest in, among other things, ESG, financing contracts, insolvency and security laws.
You have a perfect knowledge of Dutch or French, an excellent level of English and at least a good passive knowledge of the other Belgian language (Dutch or French).
You are accurate and able to summarize complex information in a correct and understandable way.
You are a team player.
You are available between October 2023 and July 2024 for approximately 16h/week or 48h/month with a maximum of 600h/year (to be discussed in mutual agreement).
