As a Functional Analyst you are part of our Technology organisation and collaborate with various stakeholders across our Product and Technology teams to gather and translate requirements into clear and comprehensive functional specifications, user stories, use cases and workflow diagrams, ensuring that the continuous improvement of our cutting-edge AdTech platform meets the product strategy and the unique requirements of our customers in various industries.

Responsibilities and deliverables

Requirement Analysis: collaborate with various stakeholders to gather, analyse and document functional requirements. Conduct thorough reviews of processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Functional Specification: translate gathered requirements into comprehensive functional specifications, ensuring alignment with the product strategy. Work closely with development teams to communicate requirements, resolve queries, and ensure accurate implementation.
User Stories and

Use Cases:
create detailed user stories, use cases, and workflow diagrams to illustrate system behaviour and interactions. Establish and communicate acceptance criteria to ensure that delivered features meet expectations and quality standards.

Collaboration: act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the Technology team, facilitating effective communication and understanding. Work closely with product owners to prioritize features and enhancements based on business value and strategic goals.
Quality Assurance: collaborate with the QA team to ensure that test cases align with functional specifications, and participate in the validation of developed features. Investigate and resolve functional issues identified during the testing phase.
Documentation: maintain comprehensive documentation of functional specifications, user stories, and other relevant artifacts. Contribute to the development of training and support materials for endusers and internal teams.
Experience as a Functional Analyst in the software industry.
Knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem or AdTech solutions is a plus.
Solid experience with functional analysis and requirements gathering best practices.
Familiar with software development and quality assurance processes and best practices.
Familiar working according to Agile/Scrum (SAFe) principles.
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities, attention for detail while retaining overview.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English; Dutch skills are a plus.
Capable and motivated to maintain comprehensive documentation.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with crossfunctional teams
