Position Description


The FP&A BP is a key position to
_drive value_ for our Company, our People, and our customers and to

With excellent internal and external business acumen, the FP&A BP understands the driving forces of the business segments (Pet Health, Swine, Poultry, and Ruminant) and the end customer needs (Veterinarian, Nutritionists, and producers), allowing her/him to be a strong business partner and identify opportunities for both financial and customer value creations.


She/He will also drive and influence cross-company or regional initiatives, process improvements and best-practice sharing, and may become project leader for specific projects of regional scope.


Functions, Duties, Tasks:


Financial Planning and forecasting

  • Drive the annual financial business planning process for the BENENO cluster, as well the forecasts process
  • Work closely with budget owners to understand drivers behind brand sales numbers, to understand the required investments as well the overall operational expenditure
  • Design and implement reliable quarterly forecasting processes across the full P&L
  • Understand organizational goals and align BENENO priorities to annual business plan priorities

Financial Close/Analysis

  • Drive the monthly financial reporting process accurately and on time, analyze operating results (Sales and Opex) and actively identify areas of potential concern, initiating corrective action when necessary, and identify innovative ways to improve profitability.
  • Manage the local

Purchase Order Process:
ensure compliance with sourcing and P2P guidelines.

  • Work with budget owners to ensure all monthly expenditures have been posted and accrued within existing SAP system
  • Analyze BENENO closing scorecards, variance analysis, and commentary explanation to identify key business drivers
  • Prepare journal entries for accrual, reversal, reclassifications, and allocations (as necessary)
  • Provide active financial leadership by developing analytical and financial insight for all important long and shortterm decisions, including resource allocation outcomes and processes, investments, and external partnerships.
  • Perform analysis on productlevel COPS
  • Drive crossfunctional decisionmaking and implementation of business strategy through close monitoring of key initiatives.
  • Support the definition and execution of the company pricing strategy, including the monitoring of the execution of price interventions to secure target achievement.

Compliance Management

  • Accountable for ensuring all operations of the company comply with the local, regional, and global compliance laws and policies, in collaboration with the FCO and is capable to implement these standards.
  • Internal procedures include, but are not limited to, Good Promotional Practices, Ethical Interactions, Anticorruption, and Data Privacy; Anti-Corruption Compliance Reviewer (ACCR)

Minimum Qualification (education, experience and/or training, required certifications):

  • Bachelor's degree level education or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 4 years relevant experience in financial management, ideally with prior experience in accounting.
  • Strong financial planning & reporting capabilities and solid accounting knowledge.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain and or compliance processes.
  • Proven leadership in influencing business decisions and driving superior results.
  • Proven track record for people management.
  • Excellent analytical skills ability to draw information from data using data analysis tool (preferably Excel, SAP);
  • Personal accountability, high business acumen and strong drive for execution.
  • Conceptual and strategic thinking skills.
  • Prioritizing abilities ability to manage multiple business as well as team priorities.
