    We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic colleague to join our HR team in the Brussels office.

    As HR Payroll Business Partner you will act as a trusted advisor and provide the full range of HR generalist support to your internal clients (employees and people managers, but also associates and partners). You will work closely with the HR team on a wide range of HR activities covering the whole employee life cycle:

  • Personnel administration: preparation of payroll (via social secretariat) thematic leaves, insurances, adjustment of work regulations, update of HR reports and internal databases (Workday)..
  • Manage and respond to Labour law related queries and liaise with employment authorities (salary, leavers, different thematic leaves, work accidents,..)
  • Recruitment: You will be responsible for the recruitment activities and processes for our support staff and interns
  • Onboarding and offboarding: You will welcome new colleagues and manage the HR transactions related to onboarding, offboarding and other HR lifecycle moments in collaboration with HR services colleagues;
  • HR support: You will be the HR contact supporting colleagues with any local HR related matters and advise them on the interpretation of policies, guidelines, procedures
  • HR projects and processes: You will participate in local and international HR projects and proactively review and update HR processes;
  • Reporting and data: You will actively champion the embedding of Workday across the employee lifecycle and ensure HR reporting and data integrity by regularly analysing data
  • Your profile

  • You have a Bachelor' degree in HR or Business Management (or equivalent relevant experience) with at least 3 years of experience in HR roles, ideally experience in a law firm or other professional services organisation
  • You have a very strong knowledge of Belgian labour law /social legislation and you have experience dealing with payroll administration
  • You are fluent in English (our working language) and in French or Dutch;
  • You have excellent IT skills including knowledge of Excel, Power Point and HR databases; previous Workday experience is a plus
  • You have excellent communication and listening skills, easing your ability to build strong working relationships
  • You are a true team player who is also able to work autonomously;
  • You are delivery focused and drive forward quality of service
  • You are proactive, problem solver, reliable, flexible, and willing to help;
  • You have good organisational and time management skills and you are meticulous in your work
