Technical Platform Owner, Patient Pathways


Background:

The Technical Platform Owner (TPO) will sit in our MedTech business.

They are responsible for managing the development of new Patient Pathways Platform features, understands the business strategies, priorities, goals to deliver e-health capabilities in alignment with the existing vision, objectives and standards.


This role will do hands-on analysis and prototyping of the business challenges working hand-in-hand with the Business Owners and Franchise business partners.

They as well partner closely with the Technical Platform Manager to drive the roadmap for the Patient Pathways portfolio. This is a permanent position, which can be based out of Belgium, Switzerland, UK, Spain and France.


Key Responsibilities:

Be a Technology partner, working with business partners to identify unmet needs, propose technology solutions, and assist management in the development of business cases and project charters

  • Lead the technical discovery process for digital projects, scoping needs, gathering requirements, and producing functional specifications. Shape and prioritize backlog, utilizing business expertise and understanding of customer needs, translate requirements into user stories & acceptance criteria. Act as the "voice of the customer" within the squad to ensure the squad "builds the right thing."
  • Cultivate relationships with business partners, J&J suppliers, customers and external agencies. Develop deep insights into the needs of our business, franchises, patients, HCP's and markets to become the goto person for as well business as technology partners.
  • Take a regional view on technology solutions, building a good understanding of business practice in other countries through a network of IT & business colleagues to harmonize Patient Pathway solutions where possible.
  • Identify, wireframe, prototype, test, and operationalize eHealth solutions using visualization platforms. Support continuous process improvement; mapping current and future state, root cause analysis for process gaps and improvement to identify and resolve business and technology related issues.
  • Act as lead for the team of Product Analysts. Align PA approach across the team, drive standardization, coordinate efforts across PA team

Qualifications:


Education
Minimum of Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science / Information Technology or related Business / Engineering degree or at least 5 years of relevant experience


Required

  • Ability to assess impact and communicate the tradeoffs between business needs, technology requirements, timelines, costs and risks
  • Ability to relate business priorities to associated technology investments. Experience gathering & documenting requirements and translating into a platform vision by leveraging expertise in product development, engineering, and UX/UI
  • Ability to recommend priorities to multiple stakeholders based on the highest business value
  • Experience in Agile project delivery in a dynamic and emerging market as part of a complex, global organization is required. Experienced in managing a backlog/release plan, tracking team level metrics, attend ART team ceremonies, removing blockers (burndown chart, release burn up)

Preferred

  • Knowledge of technology solutions within the EMEA markets will be highly regarded
  • Experience in HealthCare solutions for engaging Doctors & Patients through digital channels
  • Knowledge of trends in technology and opportunities in healthcare
  • Broad technology experience with ability to lead assessments of proposed solutions and develop recommendations is required
  • Good understanding of Agile (SAFe) delivery methodology
  • Experience working in processdriven environments (HPT, SDLC, Agile) with a failfast mindset, coordinating internal and external delivery partners toward a single goal
