FUNCTIONAL SUMMARY:


This position is responsible for handling all the marketing and collections tasks of all lease related invoices to achieve timely payment within Triton standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Handling collections of all lease related invoicing. This requires sending monthly statements, solving billing queries and instructing the Accounts Receivable team in HQ in a timely manner on how to allocate money as it comes in.
  • Input of contract terms in COTW for lease and oneway deals.
  • Following up on/ control and liaise with customer/ account manager and purchase on contract signature.
  • Following up on Insurance certificates whenever required.
  • Assisting customers with request of total losses declaration/ swaps/ billing disputes/ contract input mistakes/ depot closures etc.
  • Sending through av's (on regular or demand basis) and following up on bookings made by EU accounts outside the EU region.
  • Check on all the outstanding bookings and liaise with customers for their pickup plan on a weekly basis.
  • Generating inventory reports on a weekly basis.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:


KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:


  • Bachelors or Associates degree in Marketing or Business Administration preferred
  • Knowledge of accounting and credit/ collections process preferred
  • 03 years of experience as a marketing or collections assistant or customer service experience, preferably in the container leasing, shipping, or transportation industries.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:


  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self motivated, high energy level and positive attitude.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage and prioritize multiple tasks to completion.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with fluency in Dutch and English languages required.
  • Knowledge of additional languages such as French and German is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform efficiently in a team environment.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to various personalities and levels of management both internally and within the customer network.
  • Ability to build and maintain good customer and vendor relations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and time constraints and have a proactive attitude for solving queries.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office and specifically basic Excel skills required
  • Must be adaptable to in house systems.
