WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

As a data scientist, you will assist in the translation of ambiguous statements into structured problem statements and testable hypotheses.

You will analyze and profile data to uncover insights in support of scalable solutions, and clean, prepare and verify the integrity of data for analysis and model creation.

Tracking model accuracy and ensuring model relevance and reliability will be some of your key tasks as well.

The team's work will deliver valuable product(s) towards end-users in the end-to-end supply chain and contribute to keep improving our business operations at Nike.

As an integral part of the team, you ask questions and are continually learning as well as finding opportunities to share knowledge with colleagues.

The scrum teams' success is your success, and you actively seek out opportunities to drive data-driven decision making across the organization.

Your experience helps you prioritize and overcome blockers.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

You will work in a cross functional squad with other data scientists to explore opportunities to develop and utilize statistical modeling, machine learning and optimization algorithms corresponding the needs of business partners.

You'll also collaborate with data engineers and ML engineers to enable the development and implementation of sustainable analytics solutions while maximizing business value.

WHAT YOU BRING

3+ years of professional experience in the field of data science. Experience with supply chain analytics is a plus
Deep understanding of i) data structures, ii) machine learning / deep learning algorithms, iii) data visualization
Knowledge about Python, Pyspark, AWS, SQL, Airflow, Tableau
Translate and communicate models into workable insights
Problem solving ability & analytical skills
Familiarity with agile product development
Fluent communication skills, both verbal and written while mastering the data language
