Ideal Standard Belgium, part of Villeroy & Boch Group, is now looking to employ a motivated professional for the position of Tax Manager (EMEA).

As member of the Corporate Tax Team of Villeroy & Boch AG in Mettlach, Germany, you will be responsible for:

Timely and accurate filing of tax return for the Belgian Holding company as well as for the other legal entities in Belgium (distribution)
Internal tax reporting for quarterly, hard close and yearend local GAAP and IFRS accounts of the group, current taxes, deferred taxes and Pillar2 (tax reporting tool: AMANA)
Implementation and followup of the group's Tax Compliance Management System in Belgium
Communication with Corporate Taxes regarding transfer pricing
Monitoring and optimizing the ETR and the tax cash out
Contact to local tax advisors and tax lawyers
Monitor changes in tax legislation, manage tax audits, follow disputes with tax administration (with assistance from Corporate Tax Team)

Your Profile

Sound experience in tax matters within a multinational corporation and/or Big Four
Strong international tax background including experience in crossborder and local country structuring and transactions, M&A, transfer pricing, NOL tax planning and tax related financing
Knowledge of US GAAP and US international tax principles, knowledge of IFRS is a big plus
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to educate the leadership concerning critical tax/business issues
Strong negotiator, sound judgement and maturity
Problem solver with outstanding communication skills and the ability to perform effectively in an environment of constant change and growth
Flexible and adaptable and work effectively in a team environment
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
Ability to work collaboratively within crossfunctional teams and interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated commitment to integrity, ethical conduct, and professionalism.
