For our sea freight team in Antwerp we are looking for a colleague who gets excited by these terms.

Whatever the shipment, wish or question of the customer: no challenge is too crazy for us.

With a smile and a joke we proudly take care of the import and export shipments of our customers so they feel confident giving these responsibilities to us.

You are their contact person and you analyze their needs.

Based on the information they give you, you make the offers and ensure a punctual follow-up, together with your teammates.

You see every problem as a challenge so you communicate with care to all parties involved.
And to provide the best service possible, you stay on top of developments within the sector and our company. The jokes at the office are in Dutch, but you address customers in their preferred language, be it Dutch,

Job Description
You are responsible for maintaining and optimizing contacts with our existing clients
You analyze the needs of our customers and contribute structurally to an efficient communication, aligned with our business strategy.
Together with your colleagues, you ensure the sending of professional offers and their followup;
You are responsible for the followup of offers and the coordination with your colleagues from operations.
You expand turnover and volume with existing relations;
You continuously stay abreast of developments within the sector and our company;
You liaise with overseas offices regarding sales leads;
You elaborate requests, quotations and agreements and produce timely reports.
You are responsible for both import and export activities.

Profile

You have at least 2 years of operational experience in the maritime sector with proven results
You are flexible and can achieve excellent results both independently and as part of a team
You have strong communication and presentation skills
You express yourself fluently in Dutch, French and English
You are solution oriented.
