YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
What you'll do:
- Serve as the trusted financial advisor to the Regional Managing Director and individual sales teams, providing expert guidance on financial matters.
- Collaborate closely with sales and operations teams to develop and implement strategies that optimize profitability and drive revenue growth.
- Translate financial data into actionable insights that drive business growth and profitability.
- Provide strategic advice on staffing, margin improvement possibilities, pricing strategies, and discounts.
- Identify and recommend costsaving opportunities without compromising service quality or business objectives.
- Lead the design and implementation of regional incentive compensation plans aligned with business goals and individual performance.
- Provide financial training to new business partners as they change roles or join the company.
- Conduct indepth analysis of regional and team P&L's, customer P&L's, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly reports that provide a clear and concise overview of the financial performance of the region.
- Generate accurate and timely forecasts of sales, revenue, and P&L, enabling proactive decisionmaking.
- Lead the annual budgeting process for the region, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial targets.
- Streamline the presales process to ensure efficient and effective proposal preparation and submission.
- Manage and maintain a library of RFP templates and standard responses to expedite proposal development.
- Assist in completing RFPs and RFIs, providing accurate and timely financial inputs.
- Establish and implement robust financial controls to safeguard assets, maintain accurate records, and prevent fraud.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
- Support and sometimes conduct regular audits and reviews to assess the effectiveness of financial controls and identify potential risks.
YOUR PROFILE
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, Master's degree and/or CPA preferred 10+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting 5+ years of experience in a financial leadership position
- Experience working within a finance department of a global consulting agency preferred
- Proven track record of success in providing financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting
- Experience leading the budgeting process, translating financial insights into concrete actions, and implementing financial controls
- Strong ability aligning financial regional metrics with global organizational strategy and vision
- Ability to facilitate presales processes and manage RFPs
- Skilled in creating and managing incentive compensation plans
- Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting principles
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP preferred
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with financial systems and tools such as SAP, Oracle, or Hyperion is a plus.
