We are currently looking for an associate scientist with working experience in the industry to join our R&D team in our facility in Gent/Zwijnaarde.

Work description


Responsibilities:


  • Full time position in the lab
  • Discover, characterize and optimize therapeutic antibodies
  • Plan and execute experiments independently including interpretation and reporting of the results
  • Can find a solution to any unexpected problem in a creative way
  • Actively participate in project teams, organize work and understand priorities and completes assignments accordingly
  • Keen to learn new techniques and to share expertise with others
  • Conducting efficacy and immunogenicity assessments of preclinical animal studies

Expertise area:

  • Biochemical, immunological, and cellular assays
  • PK and PD assay development and sample analysis
  • Antibody development

Profile:


  • Degree in Science: Industrial Engineer, Master in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology or equivalent
  • Working experience in laboratory, ideally in the industry
  • Antibody development
experience is a must
  • Experience with PK and PD assay development and sample analysis
  • Team player, motivated, enthusiastic, accurate in execution and reporting
  • Good communication skills
  • Good writing skills in English
