Overall purpose of role.


The role of the Field Sales Manager is to deliver our Business OKR's both for our Direct/Independent Pharmacy business as well as wholesaler & Key accounts in Belgium in collaboration with the wider Pharmacy Channel Team.

Key to delivery will be the development and execution of a winning Go To Market strategy.


Your key areas of responsibility.

  • In collaboration with pharma channel Lead & Customer Activation Lead, develop a winning Go to Market Strategy for Independent & Direct Pharmacy. Will embed to the J&J Route to Market including J&J Way Customer Management principles, Right Store segmentation, Perfect Store activation, Value based detailing & Revenue Growth Management.
  • Leverage data, analytics & technology tools to generate Insights to Action. Proactively monitors results focus on Sell in and Sell out Metrics.
  • Coach and support Field Force leaders with a winning mindset and develop winning capabilities for the future
  • Lead & coach the customer development manager in charge of Wholesaler &key accounts/groupings and closely collaborate with Customer Activation Lead to support overall Pharmacy channel strategy.
  • Input into S&OP & TM1 planning, CIW management. Owns own forecast.
  • Active member of the Pharmacy SQUAD & Pharmacy leadershipTeam


Together with the Pharma Channel Lead, Customer Activation Lead & other functional leaders, provides input into country channel strategy and people engagement discussions.
