Background on SolarPower Europe
SolarPower Europe is a member-led association representing the European solar PV sector.

SolarPower Europe's aim is to ensure that more energy is generated by solar than any other energy source by 2030 and lead our members to make solar the core of a smart, sustainable and inclusive energy system.

We are an award-winning association and have over 280 members spanning 35 countries.

We aim to produce thought-leading energy market analysis and support the business of our members through creative and successful advocacy campaigns.

As part of the Marketing & Events team, you would take part in the marketing activities of the association.

Job responsibilities:

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Officer will:

Execute the marketing plan for events.
Coordinate graphic design, video editing and web design projects, liaising with external agencies.
Create digital marketing reports.
Complete SEO tasks for our websites.
Update our events microsites and the SolarPower Europe members' area.
Create content for promoting our events on social media, newsletters, external websites.
Coordinate partnerships with media outlets and other associations for our events and other activities.

Profile:

Graduated in Business, Marketing, Communications or similar.
You have at least 3 years of experience in marketing.
You are a creative person, with an eye for design and taking initiative to explore and recommend new designs.
You have a good understanding of corporate brand books as well as adhering and implementing corporate design guidelines in your work.
You have experience with content management systems, such as WordPress.
Strong graphic and web design skills (CANVA, Adobe Suite, video editing, HTML, CSS...).
You have strong project management skills.
Excellent command of English (ideally a native speaker) oral and written. Any other language is a plus.
You are a team player and thrive working in a collaborative environment.
