Marketing Administrator

We have an open role for a dedicated marketing assistant in this fast moving and progressive business, which will entail working with a small team in an office environment, and an external sales team/management as well as a distributor network of B2B customers, and end-user B2C marketing through traditional and digital channels.


Job Prupose:


Monitor and evaluate market trends and activities in order to identify areas in the market where business can be developed.

Propose marketing strategies which will improve the trading position and profitability of the organization.

Monitor sales volume and contribution potential of all brands and products to ensure that marketing plans are soundly based and promotional funds are allocated accordingly.

Develop and maintain relations with the organization's retail customers to monitor their business developments and recommend corrective action to marketing plans where necessary.

Identify market segments where the trading position could be improved.

Draft relevant proposals to ensure that all opportunities are exploited on a short-term basis, and relationships are developed on a long-term basis.

Provide results and information to the sales teams and update individual account strategies. Develop promotional activities for trade and retail in order to maintain margins and reinforce product and brand image. Conduct market research to identify new business developments and trends as well as competitor activity.


Responsibilities:


  • Market analysis:
Collect market data and maintain a database of market intelligence to support
the marketing and sales planning process.

  • Marketing Impact Assessment
Support the collection of customer and market data that contributes to the
review of marketing activities.

  • Marketing Planning
Contribute information to marketing and campaign plans.

  • Insights and Reporting
Extract and combine data to generate standard reports.

  • Information and Business Advice
Resolve complex queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by
providing information on policies and/or procedures, referring the most complex
issues to others.

  • Brand Strategy and Effectiveness
Recognize the role of brand guidelines in protecting the brand, carry out brand
management tasks, and provide support to others.

  • Personal Capability Building
Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development
planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching. Develop
and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and
industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences and reading specialist media.


Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:


The successful applicant should have some previous experience in marketing design and where possible digital creation (although not essential), be creative and fast thinking, with the ability to track and control marketing plans, have an effective communication style to build relationships and be able to work to time bound projects.


Duties for the role will include:

  • Communicate with target audience using bespoke marketing material
  • Design in Adobe Creative Suite for promotional and marketing material
  • Digital content design for HTML, web banners, MPUs, eshot creation
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Control marketing plans, advertising, direct marketing, and campaigns
  • Run social media channels
  • Proofing stages for editorials and European marketing brochures
  • Educational resource brochure and leaflet design
  • Arrange the effective distribution of marketing materials
  • Work closely with office and sales management teams
  • General office admin duties
