Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to support our Smart Workspaces projects. You will be responsible for leading technical aspects of key projects, ensuring the delivery of smart workspace HW & SW solutions (meeting rooms, reservation systems, digital signage) that meet client requirements and expectations.
Responsibilities:
Lead the technical aspects of Smart Workspaces projects, including planning, design, implementation, and testing of smart workspace solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders (both IT and non-IT) to define project scope, requirements, objectives, and deliverables, and ensure technical solutions meet client requirements.
Develop and maintain technical project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
Ensure technical solutions are delivered to the UCB quality & security standards, in collaboration with IT Governance team.
Coordinate activities across cross-functional teams (e.g. Office 365 or security teams) and external vendors (Microsoft, Cisco, LG, Ricoh).
Manage the handover of the operations to our Center of Excellence.
Ensure technical documentation is maintained and updated throughout the project lifecycle.

Role of the technical lead: act as a project manager and manage our external parties responsible of the implementation
Smart Occupancy:
Scope: design, implement a user localization system inside our UCB landscape complemented with an advanced analytics report
Role of the technical lead: act as product manager and customize the solution in function of the business requirements
Desk & Room Booking systems:
Scope: review our booking systems portfolio and launch the new guidelines
Role of the technical lead: act as technical lead. Evaluate the product roadmap and deploy the technology enabling the best user experience
Nice to have: pharma industry or any similar regulated working environment
Required work on hybrid model: 2 days onsite, 3 days remote
