ReeferEngineer

As a ReeferEngineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support andtroubleshooting for the global loaded Reefer fleet, encompassing both terminaland vessel operations.

Your role involves processing, categorizing, andaddressing incoming reports of technical malfunctions related to Reefercontainers, ensuring timely resolution to minimize impact on cost, cargo, andsafety.

Additionally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement ofoperational efficiency.


RoleResponsibilities:
Process and categorize incoming reports of technical malfunctions related to loaded Reefer containers on terminals and vessels.
Provide first-line technical support for basic malfunctions with limited impact on cost, cargo, and safety.
Document and archive actions taken following technical errors to maintain accurate records.
Ensure precise and continuous follow-up on all ongoing cases to facilitate timely resolution.
Escalate reports with higher impact and/or complexity to senior colleagues as necessary.
Maintain and develop professional knowledge and technical skills to optimize performance within the organization.
Act as a mentor for junior staff in navigating uncertainties or problem situations.
Provide second-line technical support for complex malfunctions with high impact.
Identify potential inefficiencies in communication, data centralization, procedures, and reporting tools, and propose improvements.


EducationLevel / Experience:
MinimumBachelor's degree in a technical field (preferably Refrigeration techniques) orequivalent experience.

Minimum 3years of experience as a Junior Reefer Engineer (internal) or ElectricalOfficer with reefer experience on cargo vessels (external).

LanguageSkills:
Fluent in English.


SoftwareSkills:
Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).


FunctionalSkills:
Technicalknowledge of manufacturers such as Carrier, Starcool, Naturaline.
Proficiencyin cooling and refrigeration techniques.
Maritime,vessel, and Reefer knowledge.
